Her legacy
Biography  

     Kathy E. Agee, 48, of Peoria, passed away at 4:26 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, surrounded by her family and close friends.
     Kathy was born on May 22, 1959 in Peoria, daughter of Lyndell and Delores Sellers Agee. They survive.
     Kathy is also survived by her daughters, Kelly (Robert) Hamilton and Breanne Bruce, both of Peoria; sisters, Karen Reeves of West Peoria and Brenda (Scott) Gray of Peoria; brother, Michael (Becky) Agee of West Peoria; two nieces; two nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
     Kathy earned her associates degree in accounting from Illinois Central College and was employed at the United States Postal Service Encoding Center in Bartonville, last working in 2003. She was formerly employed at Jumer’s Castle Lodge in Peoria.
     Kathy enjoyed reading, watching soap operas and court TV, playing bingo and spending time on her computer. She enjoyed listening to the Oldies and Clay Aiken, but “Because of You” by Reba McEntyre and Kelly Clarkson was her favorite song.
     Kathy loved spending time with her daughters, her sisters and her close friends, especially Sheila and Dawn Ringenberg. She enjoyed looking for morel mushrooms and seashells, watching her daughter, Breanne, play basketball and baseball and spending time at Kelly and Bobby’s. She adored her great nieces and nephews.
     Like the old saying goes, “God broke the mold,” when he made Kathy.
     A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Clary Funeral Consultants in Peoria, with a visitation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lupus Foundation of America, Illinois Chapter.
     Kathy’s family wishes to acknowledge the dedicated and caring attention given to her by the physicians, nursing staff and chaplains of the CVICU Unit at Methodist Medical Center.
